|Project||Investigation of basement waterproofing|
|Location||2015 - Vienna, Austria|
In the basement of a family home, massive moisture damage to the interior walls was visible. Rising moisture could be observed up to a height of about 1 m, especially visible in the utility room, which is slightly lower than the rest of the building.?The bottom plate in the utility room was measured with FGM® technology, the sealing system of the outside walls with EFT® technology.?The measurement grid in the utility room was set at 1.5x1.5 m. Small boreholes were made through the floor construction to the top baseplate.?The measurements of the exterior basement walls were carried out at ground floor level using a measuring grid of 1x1 m.?Our measurements detected two anomaly areas in the utility. At the exterior basement walls, several faults were located directly at the rain downspouts.? Specialist companies then carried out a targeted sanitation.
